Dr. Landwehr is a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Landwehr graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Orleans before attending medical school and becoming a doctor of medicine at LSU New Orleans where he completed both his residency and fellowship training. He has a particular interest in providing longitudinal care in the outpatient setting and truly getting to know his patients. He is an expert in the treatment of addiction, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Panic Attacks, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, sleep disorders, peri and post-partum care. As a resident of the Greater New Orleans Area for over 35 years, he has a deep understanding and connection with the community that he serves.

He incorporates medication management, therapy and behavioral modifications into his treatment plans to optimize care. He does not have ownership or stakes in any pharmaceutical companies or supplement lines.

He is currently seeing Louisiana residents. Adults and adolescents (16+) are accepted.

Telemedicine/virtual appointments are available to provide uninterrupted care.

Please advise: This practice prefers not to prescribe the chronic use of alprazolam (Xanax). If obtaining a prescription for Xanax is your primary reason for seeing a physician, please seek care from another provider.
